Recycling is definitely a creative and meaningful act.

Because of the popularity of video games, completely eliminating them from your child's life might be difficult. But you can decrease the negative impact that they have on your child. Here are a few tips:
- Know the rating of the video games your child plays (see below).
- Do not install video game equipment in your child's bedroom.
- Set limits on how often and how long your child is allowed to play video games.
- Monitor all of your child's media consumption -- video games, television, movies and Internet.
- Supervise your child's Internet use -- there are now many "video games" available for playing online.
- Take the time to discuss with your children the games they are playing or other media they are watching. Ask your children how they feel about what they observe in these video games, television programs or movies. This is an opportunity to share your feelings and grow closer with your child.
- Share with other parents information about certain games or ideas for helping each other in parenting.

What impact does playing video games have on children or adolescents?
The most widely used "positive" impact video games are said to have on children is that they may improve a player's manual dexterity and computer literacy. Ever-improving technology also provides players with better graphics that give a more "realistic" virtual playing experience.

Bobby:Kurt Cobain remembered Kurt and Nirvana's impact recalled
20 Feb 2010 - Saturday 20 February would have been Kurt Cobain's 43th birthday.
However, having soared to stardom in the space of two years, Cobain then plummeted into a world of despair and drugs and ended his own life with a shotgun.
Kurt's biographer Charles R Cross thinks Nirvana's rise was the worst thing that happened to him:
“One thing, the thing he thought would fix him, didn’t fix him, and I think he was even more adrift after he became famous because of that.”
The NME today has named Nirvana’s performance at the Reading Festival in 1992 as the bands greatest moment for fans.
Other performances of the band, who were only together for a few years at the end of the 80s and early 90s, included the infamous MTV unplugged gig and their Top of The Pops show in which they sang the wrong words.
Cobain died on 5 April 1994.

1. Kurt’s imaginary friend got drafted to Vietnam.
Kurt Cobain was born on February 20, 1967. At age 2, he was living in Hoquiam, Washington, and had an imaginary friend, Boddah. Parents Wendy and Don Cobain were so concerned about their son’s propensity for fantasy that, when an uncle was drafted to Vietnam, they told young Kurt that Boddah had been called up too.
2. Years before they met, Kurt and Courtney did the same drugs.
In 1974, second grader Kurt was prescribed Ritalin to curb hyperactive behavior. Courtney Love was also given Ritalin and later reflected that this contributed to the couple’s eventual heroin problems: “When you’re a kid and you get this drug that makes you feel that feeling, where else are you going to turn when you’re an adult?”
3. At church, Kurt found God — and Krist Novoselic.
On Wednesday nights, Kurt went to Christian Youth Group, where he befriended 19-year-old Krist Novoselic, whom he’d first met in high school. They started covering Led Zeppelin songs together. Kurt was baptized and, according to youth counselor Dave Reed, “accepted Jesus Christ into his life,” but his religious fervor soon waned.
4. Kurt saved people’s lives. When he wasn’t mopping toilets.
In May 1985, Cobain started work as a janitor and — in the case of staff shortage — a substitute lifeguard at the local YMCA. One night that summer, he graffiti’d the YMCA building. Kurt didn’t seem to realize that as janitor his first assignment the next day would be to clean it up.
5. He nearly joined the navy.
In 1984, Don Cobain asked a navy recruitment officer to speak to his son. Kurt listened but didn’t follow up until a year later, when his friend Trevor Briggs enlisted. Kurt took the aptitude test and passed it, but pulled out at the last minute.
6. Being a Cobain pet was high risk.
In 1981, Kurt killed a cat by trapping it inside his parents’ chimney. Five years later he accidentally stepped on the head of his pet rat, Kitty, and was forced to beat it to death with a plank. After recruiting drummer Aaron Burckhard and swapping instruments, the band evolved through names like Skid Row, Ted Ed Fred, Throat Oyster and finally Nirvana. Said Cobain, “I wanted to put out a record or play some shows instead of having it all fall apart like everything else for the past six years.
