Malaysian Government and Media

This is a clip of parliament session in 2007 where the opposition leader that time Yb.Lim ask the parliament to approve the proposal for media freedom issue.Reporter without borders is an organization that was created in 2002,they will analyze the freedom of media in each country,so Yb.Lim stated that in 2007 Malaysia was list at the number 124 which is bad for a country that practice democracy.In 2005 Malaysia was list at 113 but in 2006 malaysia had an improvement to the number 92 but in the year 2007 Malaysia had dropped.

Something weird happen when i interview Yb.KJ and Datuk Manja,because KJ admitted that Malaysia have media restriction and he is against it,but when i interviewed Datuk Manja he denied it,he said there is no such thing as restriction from the government.Its weird when a media person protecting the government meanwhile a government representative is not.Think about it!
